Rudra Trout fish farm Rudra taken from A Sailor Mr.Rudra Singh Dod, who was born in August 1974 in a a small mountain village in wooden Cottage at village Shiyasaru situated near the bank of "Flachan" river in in Tirthan Valley of Kullu district HP. Mr Rudra finished his education in my town school and finished his engineering studies in Chennai from 1994 to 1998 year. After egineering he join Merchant Navy as a radio officer in foreign fleet vessel oil tanker in September 1998 and continue with his sailor job till 2007 after sign off from ship while reaching to his family.
He decide to stay in valley with nature and he changed his mind from Ocean to river and got idea of farming world famous Rainbow Trout Fish under the brand Name "Rudra Trout Farm" which was established in December 2012. He started his Trout farming with 3 raceways of length 15×2×1.4 Mtrs. After finishing construction in in June 2016 put 10000 fingerling in three raceways and sidewise construct 2 more raceways of 17 ×2×1.4Mtrs length. In March 2018 HP fishery department sanctioned a hatchery with 3 Raceways under blue revolution subsidy scheme cost price of of above 30lacs.
